Let others build institutes.
We are building pathways.
Let others treat symptoms.
We work with stories.
Because every child is not a diagnosis to manage.
They are a story still being written.
And at Resplice, we are simply the pen in their hands.
When a child begins to struggle—not with running or playing, but with words, attention, or understanding—a quiet panic sets in for the parent.
The boy who should be curious about clouds is instead lost in ceiling fans.
The girl who should be asking “Why?” can’t get past “Ma.”
The toddler who should be babbling is fixated on textures or tunes.
And so begins the search. First to schoolteachers, then doctors, then therapists. Sometimes it’s Google at midnight. Sometimes it’s WhatsApp groups. Most times, it’s exhausting.
Dr. Chandrashekhar knows this path too well. Not as a cardiologist, but as a father. His own daughter’s autism diagnosis threw him into a world of scattered solutions: speech therapy in one corner of the city, OT in another, behavior therapy elsewhere, and nowhere a place that saw the whole child.
He watched other parents shuttle between clinics, schools, and therapists—managing multiple appointments, long waitlists, and conflicting advice. Some therapy centers offered 1-on-1 sessions but no academic support. Some special schools had classrooms but no therapists. No place offered it all, let alone with empathy.
That’s when he stopped looking outside and began building something new. That’s how Resplice was born.
At Resplice Institute we offer Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Physiotherapy, Sensory Integration, Activities of Daily Living Training, Special Education, Psychometric and Psychological Tests and Assessments, Play Therapy, Art Therapy etc.
At Resplice, every child who walks in is welcomed. There is no refusal policy—because every child deserves a beginning.
The process starts with multi-disciplinary assessments. A psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, and special educator all observe and evaluate the child together. Not in silos. They discuss, brainstorm, and co-create a plan that’s tailored to the child—not the diagnosis.
Once the admission is done, the child is placed in a class that suits both age and ability. For the first two weeks, the child is closely observed and assessed by everyone—teachers and therapists alike. These aren’t clinical tests, but everyday moments: how the child responds to peers, reacts to sounds, sits, eats, and plays.
By the end of two weeks, the team created a 3-month Individualised Education and Therapy Plan (IETP). Clear goals. Measurable steps. A path forward that feels doable, not overwhelming. And it’s all documented, reviewed, and adjusted as needed.
Mornings are dedicated to academics and life skills, but they look different for every child. For one, it may be tracing letters in sand. For another, it might be learning number sense through movement or music.
Therapies—speech, behavior, occupational, ADL—are woven through the day in individual sessions. But unlike most centers, Resplice therapists don’t just arrive for their slot and disappear. They are part of the school.\
This is especially visible during lunchtime.
At Resplice, teachers and therapists feed and eat with the children—not just to assist, but to connect. A child who resists textures might try new foods when sitting next to a therapist they trust. Another who always eats with fingers may slowly learn to use a spoon. These unstructured, real-world moments often reveal more than structured therapy ever could. Because Dr. Chandrashekhar believes that some of the deepest learning happens when food is shared.
After lunch, the day shifts into creative, sensory, and group activities. Once a week is “Sensory Day”—an event many children look forward to. Imagine a buffet of textures: aloe vera gel, soft mashed bananas, tomato paste, warm oil, cool slime. They squish, splash, and explore.
For sensory-sensitive children, these playful exposures help rewire aversions. A child who once hated getting messy might learn that not all sticky things are scary. It’s not therapy disguised as play. It’s play that heals.
Festivals are another avenue for inclusion. Whether it’s Holi, Christmas, or Diwali, the children prep costumes, decorate spaces, and rehearse performances—all at their own pace. For children who struggle with loudness or transitions, this gentle exposure builds tolerance while still letting them celebrate.
Every third month, Resplice hosts Parent-Therapist Review Meetings—not to list what the child can’t do, but to build on what they can. Parents receive home strategies, behavior tips, and guided practice to extend learning beyond hours.
Regular parent training sessions are also conducted by each department on topics like communication support, sensory diets, behavior handling, or feeding practices.
And because no child lives in isolation, Resplice is reaching out to mainstream schools nearby, offering free teacher training to help them identify and support neurodivergent children early. If a child can stay in a regular school with a bit of help, why not make that happen?
Some children stay at Resplice full-time and later transition to inclusive or regular schools. Others, who are already in mainstream setups, come just for targeted sessions—speech therapy, behavior therapy, occupational therapy, or academic support.
Because the goal is not to hold on to children forever. It’s to help them step out stronger. We don’t believe in making children fit into broken systems. We believe in reshaping systems to fit the child.
Let other centers deliver services. Resplice delivers relationship-based transformation.
Because at the heart of every therapy plan, lesson, or review is this simple belief: A child is not a problem to be fixed. They are a person to be understood. And at Resplice, that’s where we begin.
Speech therapy helps children strengthen the bridge between their thoughts and their words. For some, it’s about forming the first clear sounds; for others, it’s about shaping sentences, expressing ideas, or even understanding what others mean. It can also address feeding and swallowing challenges that share the same muscle pathways.
How it’s done:
Speech therapy for children with special needs is not just about pronunciation—it’s about giving them the keys to connection and improving communication, confidence, and independence.
FAQs
Behavior therapy focuses on understanding why a child behaves a certain way, then gently guiding them toward more helpful behaviors. It’s not about punishment—it’s about replacing confusion or frustration with skills that work in real life.
How it’s done:
This approach benefits children by improving cooperation, reducing meltdowns, increasing self-esteem, and building lasting life skills.
FAQs
Can my child get behavior therapy at Resplice along with speech and occupational therapy?
Absolutely. Resplice designs personalized plans where behaviour therapy is combined with speech therapy, occupational therapy, and special needs education for a holistic approach.
Occupational therapy (OT) helps children master everyday skills—writing, dressing, eating, playing—by improving coordination, balance, and sensory processing. Think of it as life training for independence.
How it’s done:
Occupational therapy often supports developmental delay treatment and special needs education. It’s as much about confidence as it is about skill.
FAQs
Special education adapts teaching methods to fit a child’s learning style, pace, and needs—whether for autism, ADHD, or intellectual disabilities, etc. It’s about access, not lowering expectations.
How it’s done:
This ensures every child has the opportunity to learn in ways that make sense to them, whether in inclusive classrooms or specialized schools.
