Originally founded to revolutionize autism care and prevention, Resplice has now grown into a multifaceted institute with three synergistic divisions:

Resplice Child Development Centre (CDC) – A transformative school and therapy model for children with autism and developmental delays.
Gut Microbiome Division – Focused on restoring gut health through Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) and microbiome-based therapies.

Meet Our Founder: Dr. Chandrashekhar Thodupunuri

A cardiologist turned trailblazer in gut-brain science, Dr. Chandrashekhar Thodupunuri’s journey is both personal and revolutionary. After witnessing his own child suffer from autism, gut dysfunction, and allergies, he embarked on a mission to decode the root causes that conventional medicine often overlooks.

His work has resulted in two core innovations that define Resplice today:

Gut Microbiome Transplantation (FMT) and detox-based healing protocols to improve outcomes for children with autism, adults with gut issues, and even cancer patients recovering from chemotherapy.
Maternal and environmental modification as a proactive tool to prevent autism and other epigenetically influenced disorders before birth.

Today, Dr. Chandrashekhar leads India’s first stool bank, an ICMR-approved clinical trial on FMT for autism, and multiple initiatives in AI-integrated multi-omics diagnostics and microbiome science. He is the author of the book “Rebuilding from Root – Environment, Microbiome & Autism” (2025), and has received the Atal Achievement Award and Global Healthcare Achievement Award for his groundbreaking work.

Our Three Divisions

At the heart of Resplice lies a structured, integrated school model for children with special needs. Our 8 am to 6 pm day program blends:

One-on-one and group therapies (behavioral, speech, and occupational)
Special education and life-skills training
Parent training and inclusion for holistic development

Therapy slots and daycare options are flexible, ensuring every family gets support tailored to their child’s unique journey toward independence.

Resplice is India’s first institution to offer FMT (Fecal Microbiota Transplantation) as a core treatment, addressing the gut-brain axis that is central to many modern disorders. We offer FMT and gut healing protocols for:

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD)
Adults with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
